(Diamond Rio merchandise signing)>>
As for Tommy Clapton, I'm sorry mom, I couldn't find them in the exhibits anywhere! My favorite part was the songwriters corner where there were original manuscripts on display and digital interviews with the songwriters on interactive screens. (I have to apologize for the quality of the photos, there was no flash photography allowed and Photoshop can only do so much). After my visit I walked up the street, avoiding vendors for the CMA Fest, and waited for the bus. As I sat on the bench two guys came flying around the corner and got into an all out brawl, apparently being a hobo musician has it's risks. After coming back to the house I refilled my water bottle and was off again, this time to Borders. Just another day as a tourist in Nashville.

<<What my head was previously blocking>>
<<Ticket booths where the unsuspecting vendors await>>
<<So many musical displays>>
<<The style of Elvis Presley and Webb Pierce were just a little too embellished for my taste but apparently were the epitome of classy back in the day with rhinestones and tassels all over their suits>>
<<Neato staircase with records covering the wall>>
<<One of Taylor Swift's corners. Loved that her macbook was an artifact>>
<<For my Marcellus readers, this gown was worn by Carrie Underwood at an award ceremony and although I am a big fan, the dress looks like someone donated all of our old, awful choir dresses and smushed them together. Taffeta? Really? Blech.>>
<<Squirrel sculpture made from real squirrels shot by Hank Williams. Like a morbid Alvin and the Chipmunks>>
<<A close-up of the fabulous quartet. Pretty sure Dad wouldn't mind doing that to some of the pests in our backyard>>
<<Original manuscript for Keith Urban's "Day's Go By">>
<<My favorite, the songwriters' section>>
<<Outside the building again>>
